language overload

Feb 12, 2006 18:25

i just started teaching tagalog to 2 young, strapping marines who make me laugh. but i am so fecking exhausted that i've been bumping into people and tables like a drunken fool.
filipino class runs everyday for 4 hours from 10 til 3 with an hour in between for lunch, i'm taking a spanish class wednesdays and fridays from 6:15-8:30, i started a new english refresher class scheduled for tuesdays andusrsdays from 6-8:15 and i have another english refresher class on staurdays from 1-4. sasabog na utak ko. shiyet. i'm going to give up the tuesday/ thursday class.
it's hard switching from one language to another. i kept on messing up in spanish class.. saying guro instead of profesora and lungsod instead of ciudad. last friday, we were laughing about something in spanish class and i started tearing up (because we were laughing so hard) tapos biglang  couldn't stop na. tuloy tuloy yung luha sa pagod. i had to step out and laughed/ cried more in the lobby.
i should make more kwento about the marines because they really are funny. (imagine a burly, tattooed marine saying "totoo ba? katakataka!" seriously.) pero saka na. i is tiyerd.
bale/sige/so...

hasta luego.
hanggang sa susunod.
'til next time.

adios/ paalam/goodbye :)
