check out this cutie that my mom and i picked up today for my dad...
i'd call him 'orange and lemons' if i was a fan.... but i'm not. so i'm
suggesting 'zuma' as we already have ball python called 'valentina'.
the first gift i bought will be the most appreciated i think. someone
had already given us an albino burmese a few years back and as it
wasn't quite sociable, we gave it to a vet who said that he'd get her
used to people. whaddaya know, the vet claimed it died from pneumonia a
month after we sent it to him. the said vet also (around the same time)
purchased his own albino burmese that he uses for the animal awareness
shows he does at children's parties, one which my dad and i attended a
couple of months ago. sure enough, there he was with a beautiful albino
burmese... which was just about the size ours would have been if it
hadn't "died". bitter pa din ang erpat ko.
so, as my mom and i checked out tiendecitas this afternoon, i noticed
this little guy who has gorgeous orange and yellow markings. i'm not
too sure if it's considered albino because most albinos (like our old
one) have white and yellow markings. think mais con hielo. zuma, on the
other hand, has more of a leche flan look :)
i can't wait for my mom to get home and show him to dad.
*if i'm this excited about a snake... i think i truely am destined to be a crazy animal lady.
