Today I learned that my birthday is indeed the same as my paternal grandmother's. (Apparently) due to the fact that she was born out of wedlock her birthday was celebrated on a later date. Whatever the case was, a cousin did some extensive genealogical research and found the actual date.

Her birthday: November 16th, 1918
My birthday: November 16th, 1981
