I'm seriously neglecting my livejournal.

I feel like a horrible mother. I've been updating on my Myspace blog constantly, and just come here to read anymore. Alot of my friends have all just dedicated themselves over yonder, but I just still have this mad love for Lj. I've taken this from the other, but I wanted to pull the ol' copy -n- paste.

I think that the majority of my 'winter time blues' may have dissapated (sp?) tonight at work (although these reasons might not encompass my lack of motivation).

I finally have some regulars that I wait on and I'm comfortable enough in my job to have alot of fun.

Tonight greeted me with: Getting to chat with my bestest pal and seeing some pics of the Cat night/ Since a rose lady comes in every Saturday, 2 of the regulars bought me roses. One from old man Bud Bill (guess what he drinks), and one from my construction worker crew/ I pocketed 2 phone numbers from drunk boys (never give out your number in a bar). They were completely not my type, but they were actually hot. A a rule of thumb when you're a waitress in a bar, 2 types of guys hit on you: 60 year old men, and boys with a large lack of education and teeth. Way to go self-confidence!/ I BANKED $250 in tips, fifty of it from a guy who said that I had memorable eyes and that he knew me. And...the $50 was not a tip, he had no drinks from me. No...it was just...handed to me...I kept hearing stories from the girls about times like those, and thought about how awesome that would be. Since I'm pretty fuckin' broke, that makes me really happy. I have had a great present in mind for Lisa's Birthday (next Saturday), and now I can go all out with it!

It just amazes me how much fun I can have at work and rake in that much money on one 10 hour shift (the first few hours bullshitting with Lisa). I really understand the motivation behind Lisa's decision to just keep on truckin' in that job. It's not just that she makes that much money (between 1 1/2 years of getting to know regulars, job stabillity, and she's great at what she does), it's also that this job is incrediably fun. The clientel is simply the best, and there is rarely a pissed off customer.

So I came home, ate some Taco Bell and popped in Dogma.

I get to work tomorrow as well, so I'm going to get to watch the Colts game (which for some reason I'm retardedly excited about) while making some money.

What a rockin' weekend.
