reconnected
i was talking to Lou the other day about how just last week i would wake up to a disturbing dream only to realize i was actually living it.
i know, i know, its a bit dramatic but really i feel so good when i wake up here.
well, bad dreams definitely occurred last night (maybe it was the microcosmos) but this morning when i woke up it was a relief to be here.
safe and surrounded by people who care about me and genuinely want me here.
the weather has me feeling a bit melancholy today but right now i can't help feeling mostly grateful. grateful for the wonderful people in my life. grateful for my amazing boss. grateful for my job. grateful for this city.
