Old habits come back easily. It's like riding a bike; you never really forget how.

The song, unsurprisingly, makes me think of The Graduate.

In the category of good news, Oregon won their first game of the year by a healthy margin. They didn't look super great, and I don't think that this year's squad will be as good as last year's prior to the injury suffered by starting QB and Heisman Trophy candidate Dennis Dixon (oh, what might have been), but they should post a winning record, and seem solid enough to beat who they should while maybe pulling a surprise upset here or there.

In life news: not leaving for Austin yet. I work with weird people. For whatever reason, the guy who I will be living with out there thought that I had changed my mind, despite not asking me if I had or me saying that I had, so he didn't take care of anything on his end. Also, the other guy who owns the business isn't quite thrilled about me going out there considering my recent lack of production (I was trying to get myself ready to move and didn't need any more money to get there, but oh well, some people just don't think like I do). Translation: a few more hoops to jump through. Likely, I'm leaving two weeks from now.

It feels really weird still being here. Think of that feeling you get when you're in a plane and it takes off and your stomach feels as though it has been left behind. Then imagine being the stomach. I'm distinctly disappointed with the anti-climacticism of it all, myself.

"Hey everyone, I'm leaving on this date and you'll never see me again." Everyone: "Oh, that's sad. Let's hang out before you go." Me: "Okay." [hanging out happens] Me: "Guys, I am actually not leaving yet." Everyone: "?? Okay, whatever."
