Finding Neverland and my genius
finally got a chance to watch "Finding Neverland" last night. I loved it. J.M. Barrie is by far the most creative writer I have ever had the pleasure to read. And for those of you who know me...that is saying something, as I read A LOT.
Everytime I read Peter Pan, it sparks something in me. Most of the time it is just "I have to do something creative...I don't know what.....but it must be creative." That sounds funny, but it is true. Last time I read it, I tried to be an author. I commend anyone who actually can write. Lets just say, it is not my forte.
I do, however, have a project in the works, currently. I have had the idea for quite sometime, and only now have decided to finally act on it. I hope it comes out perfect, the way I intend it to. You shall probably be seeing the results of my effort within the next two weeks. We shall cross our fingers, yes?
I intend the project to be a full representation of my creative limits at this stage. I know that sounds weird, but it just seems like everything I do these days, is not my best. So....I shall show you my best (for those of you that actually watch my work.).
Speaking of work....did anyone else see the Vogue cover of Drew Barrymore, shot by Annie Lebovits?? AMAZING!! And the insides were even better. You should check it out. It came out this month. Should still be on the stands.
Well...I guess that just about wraps up my life for now. Hopefully, it will continue on full throttle and I will keep you posted per usual (meaning once a month.)
P.S. And can I just say, by way of public announcement.....that I miss mollie greatly (as she is also, The Monster) and Mr. Babo....whom I still talk to everyday....even without a phone.
