• Has the constant worry that Zelman will fly off the handle.
• For the most part, considers Zelman as a friend and remains strictly loyal to him.
• Is very weak when it comes to liquor.
In terms of fashion, Zelman uses all brand names. Personally, he is also more of a street-fashion type of guy. Besides the clothes he buys for himself, since all of his clothes were confiscated by Sayuka, Zelman is not able to pick out his own clothes anymore.

A cool and intellectual woman, Sayuka has sworn absolute loyalty to Zelman but is aware of the real him and worries for the day when he will get out of hand. She can be somewhat aloof (especially towards Mimiko), but when the pair get to know each other they become friends. She has little to no alcohol tolerance.
In her apartment she has a picture of Zelman expanded into a poster and several others (small sized), and when she returns home she kisses the photo. It's her hobby to collect pictures of him.
When Zelman is stabbed while protecting Kotarou even though he is taken to the hospital the wound is fatal. He bites Sayuka and gives her the Kiss of Death, making her drink his blood so that she becomes his "daughter" to carry on the bloodline.
