Interesting question. A moment, please.

[there's the sound of something being moved over and set down with a clatter, then a few more rustles and clangs before the comm clicks off.]

[not long later, have your brother knocking at your door, Leo.]

It's open. [Leo's writing in a college-ruled notebook at his desk, thus why he doesn't get up and open the door himself.]

[Donatello slips in and shuts the door quietly, wandering over to Leo's side and giving the notebook a somewhat-curious look]

What is it?

[Leo stops what he's doing once he finishes his sentence -it looks like a list of observations- before turning in his chair to rest an elbow on his desk and look up at Don.] I need you to do something for me.

Donatello leans back on his heels but doesn't look surprised, just attentive. He thinks he may know what Leo's going to say.]

What do you need?

Snag all the best hackers you can find and tell them about our plan.

[he called it! Well, sort of. He was half-right.]

How low profile do you want me to keep this?

[in other words, does he use word of mouth and personal observations alone, or does he actually have to ask people outright and test them?]

...be as picky as time allows. I want to get this underway no later than two days from now. If we wait until Friday, new people will start showing up and there might be unforeseeable changes in attitude.

Use your best judgment. I'd test them first, then go from there.

Understood.

You're talking to everyone tonight, then?

To those I can.

There's pros and cons to having a large task force for this...I'm torn.

Yeah.

What's giving you the most trouble? The potential ill effects or just not being used to a larger group?

We can be quieter with fewer, but we're not familiar with the decks below and the more firepower we have, the better chance we have of getting out of there with Raph.

...I wish I knew exactly what we were up against. I hate flying blind.

We're not entirely blind. At the very least some of the passengers have had experience with what's down there - if they have any information they weren't telling then coming along will be reason enough to tell. Even if we don't, we've gone in blinder, haven't we?

We'll be fine.

You keep pumping out that optimism, Don. [God knows Leo won't.]

I could get Mikey.

[Optimism does not come naturally to Don.]

No; we'll hear plenty of it from him later.

I'm going to get us some more bodies in the meantime. We'll need lookouts, decoys, so on and so forth.
