Meet Annabelle, or Anna Banana as I like to call her. Ryan and I adopted her! We went out to the bar on Friday, and I took a phone call outside about 5 minutes after we got there. She immediately came up to me and started rubbing against my legs. I, being the bleeding heart for animals that I am, couldn't even go back inside. I called Ry and made him come outside and we got her food. We decided to go in for about 20 minutes, and if she was still there when we got back we would take her home. She was, and with the help of Melissa we did. Ry took her to a vet, and $200 later we found out she was a 5-6 year old female (we had named her Jake, thinking she was a boy), with a perfect bill of health, and now flea free. She hasn't left Ry's side since she's been in the house.
I'm so happy! I swear she's the sweetest thing ever, and was just so skinny and ragged (tufts of hair missing). I'm really happy Ry and I adopted her, and can't believe we have an animal together. It's kind of an awesome feeling, and just another step for us. We didn't think we'd do this until we were officially living together, but how could he turn this cutie away!!!
She likes to rub her face on everything when she's not being pet!
