Have you ever cut banana bread with a spoon?

I’m sure I have promised that I would keep writing in this, but it seems I always want to do a million things. I’ve actually had work to do at “work” and I’ve also been trying to flesh out some more TMT stories.  In the midst of the blogosphere, I decided to dive further deep. I haven’t put too much effort into it yet, but lmaodogz.blogspot.com has been the new playground for hilarity. So far the layout is nowhere near being appeasing to the eyes, so that needs some major work. I’m no good at design. So far Brad and Peter have contributed, but it has a long ways to go before it entirely takes over the world. I have some prank phone calls to post on there at some point.

Keeping busy has been a good thing. I’m not frightened of boredom, but I start to feel eager to get up and do something productive when I’m being lazy. Possibly, I feel more motivated. I like to cook more and like to actually be doing something. Last Friday, Sara bought a bike and bought me one to (I plan to pay her back though). We went riding for a few on Saturday, but we went on a big, 16-mile ride on Sunday. It was good to get out on a back and do something like that.  I want to ride my bike so much and I hope that I continually do so.

Last weekend was one of those weekends where I ended up spending some of the last of my monies on shitty movies at the movie theater. The first film was, “I Know Who Killed Me”, which was absolutely hilarious. Just about everyone in the theater was laughing at all the serious parts, not one person could have taken that movie seriously. I hope that movie marks the end of Lindsay Lohan’s ill-faded career. The second movie I saw was “The Simpsons Movie” and I knew I would regret it from the beginning. I guess I just had a small ounce of hope that there would be a few clever things in the film, but nope. My childhood is ruined. I didn’t even laugh once. “I Know Who Killed Me” was 100x funnier than “The Simpsons Movie”.

Tonight, Sara and I get to go see Interpol for free, which should be a good time even though we are extremely poor. Poor is just a state of mind. Well, maybe not. And yes, money would be nice. But I’m not going to complain or get bummed about it. I have also been working on fixing my financial aid for this school year as my mom “accidently” messed up my FAFSA and didn’t turn it in on time.  We are both just ready for school to be done. And to move and start a career to pay off all the time we wasted in college. Sara shall be graduated next spring and I will in the fall as long as I take a summer class and don’t fuck anything up.  I’ll at least be done with my Major this semester, which in a way sucks because all I have left is shit I should have already of got out of the way. Oh well.

I’m actually excited about my birthday this year. Last year, I turned 21 and just worked all night. I usually don’t do much. I think Sara and I will be going canoeing with my family the weekend before my birthday. I also pre-ordered “Inland Empire” at Von’s, which comes out on my b-day. Also the Aqua Teen movie will be out on DVD and the Eric Copeland (of Black Dice) album will be out. I’m really all nerdy and excited about those for some reason.

At work we just got some free corn and watermelon. I’ll always take all the free stuff that I can get.
