Today, in a word, was perfect
This birthday was by far the best ever. And not because I'm 21 now, or that I got a new drivers license picture (which still sucks, mind you) but because I have never felt so loved in my whole life. Today, I saw how much people care about me, and I have never felt better about myself, or about where I am in life. Thank you, every body, for everything you've done for me.
haha sappy moment over, lemme tell you about the festivities...
It all started last night when I was in the worst mood ever. (michele, you know what I'm talking about). I had planned to go straight home, cry myself to sleep, and hopefully wake up next spring. Well, no such luck. There was a package in the living room for me, and I assumed it was stuff for the food thing im doing, so I was hacking it open, well, come to find out, it was my gift from Jacob, which was so wonderful I wanted to cry happy tears instead. I got lots of great stuff, including the most beautiful bracelet I've ever seen, and the music box from the Phantom of the Opera, which is great for so many reasons. A tremendously warm blanket (which is great, because we dont have any heat in our house) and a pretty little gem tree. Also (yes, theres more) a beautiful wooden jewelrey box. You really outdid yourself, you know that? You spoil me, you really do. And I got lots of wonderful texts and calls over the course of the night, thanks gals, you're all great (and Im waking each of you up at 1 am on your birthday :P ) So then I went to work this morning, and had two sets of flowers delived to me, one from my parents and one from a family friend. So that was incredibly unexpected. When I got home, I had a pretty card from my grandma, and yet MORE flowers. These were lillies, from Jacob, and they were georgous, and they smell soooooo nice, along with a pink teddy bear and a sweet sweet card. Then we went to dinner, and I had my first legal drink, and it was gross. Then I came home and now I'm so tired I might just fall asleep at 8 pm. Tomorrow is my food thing, and then Saturday is my birthday extravaganza, which should be nice. Thanks everyone, for everything! I feel so loved :o)
