The Yearly Yuletide Letter
HELLO DEAR AUTHOR,
Thank you for (a) having excellent taste and (b) signing up to write something this year! I appreciate your participation and general awesomeness! I'll imagine you to be as dashing as Rick Castle, just so you know.
Onto the requests! There are vague spoilers for some things, particularly 11/22/63. Just to warn everyone.
11/22/63
Oh man, this book, am I right? I'm really up for pretty much anything to be honest. I'd love some Sadie Dunhill gen from any version of the timeline, although preferably the main timeline we see along with Jake. She was legitimately my favorite part of the book (and probably one of my favorite all-time King creations), so I'd love to spend some more time with this character. If Sadie's not your thing, I'd be fascinated by some Green Card Man (Men) backstory or some perspective on their role in the story. OR, and this was honestly the first thing that popped into my brain when I was reading the book - when Jake returns back to his time and sees the effects of his actions, what if the rabbit hole isn't there?

This is going to sound ridiculous BUT: what if the darkest timeline finally overtook the primary timeline, only to find out the show got stuck on hiatus? WHAT WOULD THEY DO? Would they band together? I'd vote the more meta, the better. And any and all Fringe references about timelines are also welcome. In other news, really anything about the darkest timeline is aces. It's the craziest brilliant thing. Major bonus points for any Inspector Spacetime references. (As a note: I lean Jeff/Britta, or Annie & Britta being awesome together, but not Jeff/Annie.)
Downton Abbey
EDITH! Gosh, how awesome was she this season? I'd love some Edith gen, trying to find her footing and especially in relation to Mary & Mary's whole deal. A million bajillion points for Violet interfering in any way, shape or form. (I had meant to nominate this and then got distracted by other things, BUT, if you'd prefer to write this: I'll take Sybil/Gwen in pretty much any shape or form. What is a Branson?)
Sports Night
I'm what, ten years late to the party on this show? My bad. Sam and Dana are my new OTP of OTPs. I just want it to work out for these two crazy kids. I'd love what it's like for Sam to come and go, and if it would ever be too much to leave Dana again. Calvin knows he's got a good show he's just bought, and Sam's done good work with Dana before, so he's he natural choice to bring him back. (And if Sam/Dana's not your thing, Isaac is totally awesomesauce too. But if Sam/Dana *is* your thing, I absolutely love it when Dana brings her personal issues and Isaac is all nooooooo.)
In general, I'm a big fan of AUs, and introspective character bits, and ladies being awesome and in charge. All three at the same time is also pretty great. These are all just ideas, but feel free to frolic around in these fandoms however you choose.
