Notes: I'm a bit rusty. I swallow some words in this one, my bad. I may rerecord this, since now that I've read it once, it will be better if I go back. This is probably one of the straight-up funniest things I have read in this fandom, and I hope some of that really lovely dry humor came across. (boonies, if you think it sucks, CALL ME OUT ON IT and I will redo it. I MEAN IT, LADY.)

Penny steps up to the bookstore counter, smiles sweetly, and says, "Hi, my boyfriend's birthday is coming up, and he likes some show about a space doctor..."
The clerk gives her a patronizing smile. "Doctor Who."
Penny fakes puzzlement. "Yeah, I don't know his name," she says, raising her voice. "That's sort of why I need help."
"Yes," the clerk tries again. "It's Dr. Who."
"Doctor...?"
"Who."
"The doctor," Penny stresses, baring her teeth, "I need the name."
Exasperated, the clerk hisses, "Who."
A short outburst later, Penny's holding a coupon for 75% off the entire Doctor Who collection.
"Does this make me a bad person?" she asks him when they walk out of the store.
"Yes," Sheldon says, but appropriates the bag anyway.
