This has been a rough couple of months. I don't even know where to start.

October 21st one of my really good friends from high school passed away. His name was Jeremy. I've known him since day one freshmen year of high school when we met in ROTC. I didn't know anyone else in that class and we ended up sitting next to eachother and he just started talking to me. He had so much going for him, he had just graduated college. In 2002 ago he was diagnosed with leukemia and was able to overcome it and go into full remission. A little while ago he got sick again then got better. Wednesday 10/20/05 night he was sent to the hospital ended up getting a blood infection. They put him on dialasis and his kidneys failed and his blood pressure sky-rocketted. He passed away early thursday morning.

I can't think of anyone who really disliked him. He was so warm hearted and caring. He was a Christian, so I know he's in heaven now and not in any more pain. At least he doesn't have to go through any more chemo or transplants or anything.

He was in a Fraternity, but he wasn't the typical frat guy. He was the mediator, and people would always go to him with problems and ask his advice. At his funeral a couple of his frat brothers did the music and the songe they chose to sing for him was Jimmy Eat World~ Hear you me. That song was so perfect and I just lost it. I listened to that same song in my CD when my grandpa died and we were driving up to take care of everything.

It's so weird when someone you were really close to dies, and they're your age. It makes life so real. I'm still in shock, as are all of his other close friends. It's also pretty sad that the only time some of your oldest friends get together is at a funeral or even a wedding.

Anyway, on to a brighter note. I am being sent to Laughlin to help open up a new Joe's Crab Shack. I'm really excited about this. I sort of like to gamble though, so I will have to learn to control myself. HEH. Oh, yeah and you can't beat the free drinks!!! Holler @ that. The company is putting us up in a hotel room with a two free meals a day (one has to be from Joe's though). We are going to be there anywhere from 2-4 weeks or so. Depending on how well the training and opening of the store goes. I'm mostly excited that I will get to see my mom on a regular basis. She just moved to Arizona, a part of arizona that is only about 40 mins from Laughlin. This opporotunity is just awesome. Plus it gives me a break from having to work @ 4:30 am 3-5 days a week. YAY @ that.

On the work subject, i'm getting so tired of working 50-60 hours a week. I hate having bills, but it's my own fault and I have to pay them off. Oh well, I guess.

I'm still supervisor training at Joe's. It's going pretty well. I like it because it gives me a variety there now. I bartend and serve still and 2-3 nights I supervise. The only bad thing now is the manager I was closest with is quitting because she got another managing job. It's going to be a hard transition when she leaves. It will be interesting to see what happens. Thank God the other manager I work well with is staying.

I stubbed my toe really bad and I thought I broke it. It was so swollen and black and blue. It's still swollen but not so black and blue. I was walking like a thug the past week and a half. Too bad i'm not still, the raiders are playing here this weekend, i'm sure i'd fit right in.

My roommate just turned 21 so I will probably have a pic update soon. It was fun we all went to Dave and Buster's. It reminded me of my 21st birthday. Oh the joy's of turning 21!

I also got the Papa Roach DVD. It wasn't the same watching it without Liz. :(. However, there sure is a picture of Liz inside the front cover from the Anaheim HOB show in April. There's also a smaller one of me but you can barely see me. You can definitely see Liz-ard though. :). Everyone should go out and get it, it's pretty sweet.

I need to update more often so that my posts aren't so long when I do finally update.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
