Liz & I had fun in L.A. We went shopping on Melrose...we bought shirts for 1 dollar each...how great is that?!?!?!? Then we drove down sunset blvd, and into Beverly Hills. One day we will go back, and get one of those stars homes maps, and just mess around and look for famous peoples homes...Maybe they will have Jessica simpsons house on the map, and we can all throw eggs at it...lmfao.
Anyway...lmfao, then we went to Santa Monica Pier, and 3rd street Promenade...Let me tell you, at the bar/cafe we ate at..they had the WORST live singer possible. He was sooo off key and horrible, even I noticed...and Liz-ard being musically inclined like she is..was about to die. I really think her eardrums were going to burst.
3rd street promenade was really cool as well. It reminds me a little of universal citywalk, in the sense that is has shopping, and street performers. I must say, I was very impressed by a few of the street performers. Wow. Just Wow.
We had a full day...we left at around 10:30 am and got home about 10:15pm...lots of walking...but for 30 bucks I came home with: 2 Urban Outfitter shirts; a black belt with engraved pink stars, and a cool scarf. Yeah, pretty good for shopping in nicer areas of Los Angeles.
If you are not from cali, and you plan on visiting one day...I suggest you check out all these places :)
