Here is my post for 2011. This isn't going to be about my life or anything about me in general. It is a rant.
I'm going to take a guess that there is probably only about 20% of the world (and this may be high) that actually want to make it a better place. Of that 20% I'm sure that there is only about 5% that wants to make forth an effort to do something better. This is also being spoken from an American who has never seen the world beyond Canada. I'm just so sick of people, its not hard to make the world a better place. NOT HARD AT ALL. Quit being assholes. That is all it will take. Every single person is fighting to get to a better place on this world. People always want something they can't or don't have. This could be something small like a sandwich or it could be religious freedom, everyone is fighting for something. Working in the capitalistic system is fighting, you're constantly trying to make it to "easy" street. Here's the thing, don't. I'm not saying not to have drive, I'm saying to use it constructively. Who really gives a shit about who's cock is larger? Who cares who has the fastest car or most luxurious? Doesn't matter. Some people just want everyone to know they paid a larger amount. Why should YOU care if someone is better looking that you? Everyone is striving to be something better but, there is a middle area. Equality is what you should be fighting for. If you're lazy, you should work harder. If you have busted your ass your whole life you should get to take it easy for a while. There will never be a middle area, there is only the haves and the have nots and no one will ever fucking be happy. There is just too many things to fix on this world. People want to point fingers and find out where to start, start with yourself. The damage has been done by capitalism and greed, the monetary system all of this bullshit. The problem with getting rid of everything and starting back new is that there is still someone that doesn't want to work for something. People used to form tribes and have a commune that all worked towards a common goal to stay alive and prosper, along the line someone wasn't smart enough to live on their own, so they took what wasn't theirs. So what does this all mean? It means that humans a whole are not good people, if you were to take statistics on who was good and who wasn't you would be severely disappointed. People can talk all they want, you throw religion at them and force them to be good people just by scaring them into it. Big threats. That gets people moving, when what should get them moving is trying to better this world because somewhere down the line we're all going to be fucked. If God created this world and us I don't see how he can't be constantly disappointed. I'm not trying to be negative but lets get serious.
Lets change. Start with making yourself the best you can be, go from there.
