When I was a little girl Lilo's age, when mom and dad used to be morning people (hah), when I used to be a crazy little morning person (double hah), I'd wake up before dawn and drag them out of bed early and drive us halfway across the island, to where it faces east, so I could dash down to the beach to flop in the sand and watch the sunrise.
...I miss that.
Discedo's sunset really isn't half as pretty, but sometimes the light reflecting off the water reminds me of home.
