Here we are
April one. Happy Birthday, [Fred and] George!
And happy getting-to-be-spring, everyone else. We can finally start to feel the renewal of the earth, even around here in the northern parts of this hemisphere, and it's a bit of a thrill. I just love seeing the first bursts of forsythias each spring!
In the Potterverse, we have the opening of Wiz World in Florida to look forward to, in just over two months; the press preview reports and images are so enticing (Pumpkin Juice, and Butterbeer? For REAL?!) that I may overcome my aversion to the muggy, buggy south just long enough to experience all that. The buildings of Hogsmeade Village boggle the reality receptors in my architectural brain, and I just have to see them in all of their snowy, squiggly, crooked, gravity-defying splendor. Yeah.
Here in RL things have settled into a rhythm over the past several months which I quite enjoy. The desk-job life is vastly overrated and unhealthy to boot, as it turns out, and I'm still enjoying each day that I have to explore everything ELSE that's out there. See you on the terrace for tea!
