Don't hurt me for asking, but...
Could anybody fully explain the "pea method" to me, and under what definite circumstances should it be done? I know this has been asked many times, but I can't seem to find any of the entries. I have two fish who have reasonably big bellies and are stuck at the surface at the water. Constipated? They've been like this for weeks. Are they doomed? I hope it's not a tumour or something serious.
I've been noticing something strange with some of my fishies' tails lately, as well. It looks like little blobs of blood on the ends. I'm assuming this isn't a good thing. What can I do to make it go away? I don't know if it qualifies as the "red streaks on fins" that are symptoms listed on some of my meds, but if so, will treating it with the usual combo of Maracyn/Maracyn 2 help?
Also, is there an index/FAQ for this community anywhere? That way, questions, like mine, can be quickly found and read rather than the community being posted with repeat questions over and over, and so one doesn't have to go back and search through tons of entires to find their answer. And if not, I would love to help in making one!
