Okay, another swim bladder question. I know swim bladder isn't really serious, but it always FREAKS ME OUT!
Is it normal, when a betta has swim bladder, for their stomach to be a bit swollen? My poor guy (different guy -- gah, what am I doing? I don't feed them much at all!) seems to have swim bladder -- basically stuck on his side ... will swim down, only to land back floating on his side. When I first saw him, I thought he was having a seizure ... no. Just trying to get back down. Anyway, his belly is a bit swollen. It doesn't look like dropsy or anything, no raised scales, and he's acting fine if I get him moving (though when on his side, of course, he just kind of stays there) ... but his belly being a bit swollen is worrying me.
Help?
