Writer's Block. What does that really entail? Unfinished fragments, broken phrases, empty sentences. Are those the components of a writer's block. If yes, then that's probably the reason for my lack of updates this past couple of weeks ( Read more... )

I had no idea you were such a romantic, Paul. =)

But my solution for writer's block (for LiveJournal, that is), is to make silly one-liner posts until something interesting happens and you decide to write about it. However, I'm old, so those posts don't come around too often. I try, and one should be up hopefully around Sunday.

Shut up! Writer's block. Whatever comes to mind, comes to mind. Haha.

I will do that for the next time I encounter this. Hey, how have you been?

True, true. The thing about these blogs is that you never need a reason to update. You can write "I had a cup of Starbucks Coffee today; no one recognized me there", and that can spark a lot of interest (and comments!). It really depends who's posting though. ;)

One-liners are pretty great.

I have been out of shape and growing man breasts, sadly. I hope you are doing much better than I have!

Comparing writer's block to love. That's a new one. Maybe, like love, you just have to let writer's block run its course. Like in love, where eventually you'll open your heart and find somebody wonderful (the best things are worth the wait), sooner or later a bout of inspiration will come to you and the words will come flowing out of your fingertips again.

I was wondering why my laptop was on and running when I recall putting it away last night. Did you manage to distract me with dessert and the movie? I can't even remember what we watched.

The best things are worth the wait indeed. This wasn't a very good post either. I'll just follow what you said and let inspiration come to me.

Did I not turn it off?! I would be a horrible thief. I think we were watching Se7en but I turned it off after you fell asleep on my lap. Then I think I fell asleep and then you woke up. Something like that.

At the risk of sounding ridiculously sentimental, you were worth the wait. I believe that everyday.

If ever you decide to steal something, let me know. You need some sort of a cover and I can provide that, but only if what you steal is worth it. Look at me, promoting crime. Let's keep this a secret, shall we. I remember waking up, shaking you awake, stumbling to bed sometime in the early hours of the morning, but it was really a big blur. I do remember waking up and slipping out of bed to get in the shower though, while you slept peacefully and without so much of a rustle.
