Ripples has been experiencing some extremely lethargic behavior and I'm very worried about him..
He is usually in a 5gal tank with filter, heater, bubble rock the works (where he is insanely happy and energetic) up at school but at home I have to put in a 1.5 gal with a filter because there just isn't space for him at home. For the past two weeks he's kinda just been chilling at the bottom of the tank, not giving me any attention when I visit him (He usually comes up and flares and gets excited) and he doesn't seem to be eating. He looks a tad bit pale but I inspected him with a flash light and I see no signs of ich/fin rot or anything of that sort. He just looks paler and less colorful. I don't know what to do for him and I'm really worried and scared. I'm going to monitor him tonight and hope he makes it. I just did a water change and put in a tad of stress coat and some aquarium salt.
Is there anything that could be really wrong with him? The temp feels adequate and I'm going to buy a thermometer tomorrow (I also don't have a heater at home for him.. but it is insanely warm in my house with the way our landlord heats our apartment).
Any thoughts? :(
EDIT: Also there are some weird bubbles coming out of my filter. What could this be?
Also my Mom just brought up a good point. I had my humidifier on the other night with a vicks vapor rub filter because I've been very sick. Could this have seeped into the water..?
