Fantastic Deal
You might remember that I was unhappy with the Apple Store's selection of laptop carrying arrangements. I took matters more or less into my own hands and started researching all my options. I've always been fond of the idea of having a bag made by Timbuk2 but let's face it - they're expensive. Nevertheless, I was near our lovely REI store this morning and I knew they sold Timbuk2 bags and other laptop bags, so I decided to swing in and check things out.
Well. Not only did I find a bag I liked, but I found one on sale for $35 instead of $100. So what's the catch, you ask? Clever of you to ask. It was on clearance because it's a shade of coral or salmon or some other pinkish hue that some might (understandably) describe as... Bright. Distinctive.

But despite the fact that I don't consider myself much of a pink person any more, I could not in good conscience pass up the perfect bag at 65% off just because the color is alarming.
And I can't wait for the new MacBook to show up so I can really start using it. YeeeeHAW! It was shipped this morning from China, so who knows when it'll get here. And yes, the tracking info really does say it's coming straight from China. I googled it.
