So I really should be getting breakfast for myself, but I'm here writing an entry instead.

I picked up an application to work at the Ann Taylor store in the shopping center just down the road. I _LOVE_ their clothes, and you're not required to always be wearing their stuff, which means there wouldn't have to be a sudden large expenditure just to get me work clothes (altho I'm sure that with an employee discount it would gradually work its way in). I intend to fill it out and take it back in today... as much as I loathe the idea of working a "real" job, I think it's come to that. I've gotten two people who have said they might be interested in having a PC party, but no indication of when that might actually work out.

Part of what I love about my schedule right now is that more things are actually getting done - running errands, cleaning around the house, doing laundry, at least thinking about my novels... and generally by the time you stick even 30 hours of "regular" work into my schedule, I'm just too frazzled to think about anything, much less get it done.

Anyway, Bible study last night went really well, I think. I'm thinking more and more about ways God might use me in this church, and have more of a desire to wake up and do my devotions in the morning, which I've not been regular about very much at all lately. I view both of those as positive things - and actually I've got an appointment this afternoon to meet with the church's music director and talk with him about where I might fit into things. Apparently one of their worship teams will be losing a singer toward the end of the year, so it might just be perfect timing for me to jump in and fill that gap.

In other music-related news, Third Day and the David Crowder Band are coming to Denver in concert this Saturday night. *drool* I heard about it a while ago, but it slipped my mind until yesterday, when the "I really really really wanna go!" bug hit. So as to avoid completely blowing our budget (even tho the tickets are only $26 apiece) I think I'm going to tell Matt to consider it half my birthday gift, because I have to say that it's just foolish not to go to such a great concert when it's only 30 minutes away. In addition, Third Day announced that they're releasing a Christmas album (called Christmas Offerings) this year. *dies and goes to heaven* I've been waiting for a Christmas album from them for YEARS. Can't wait - somebody had better tell me not to buy it if they're going to be gifting it to me, because I'll be there on release day otherwise.

My agenda today is to fill out that application, write for a while, turn in the app and go to my meeting dealie, and come back and write. The house is more-or-less clean (thanks to two dishwasher loads yesterday) and laundry doesn't need to be done until the weekend. We'll see how it goes.
