Here is a list of the "deal breakers" for the last few guys I've been involved with (and one I just went out on a first date with):
1) I popped my gum
2) I'm - and I quote - "too outgoing"
3) I just want to get married
4) I've been married before
5) I'm ready to start a family
6) I'm "a cool girl, but the buck stops there."
7) I'm "freaking awesome" but he's not good for anyone right now
Perhaps oddly, I am not upset by any of my supposed faults. If you can't handle the fact that I pop my gum when you are being a boring/bad date, you're lame. If the fact that I want to get married and start a family is a turn off for you, you're clearly not the guy for me. If you're so closed-minded that you can't accept the fact that I have been married, you're a stupid head. In fact, I think that the person I'll end up with will appreciate the fact that I've been married because it is a part of my personal history that informs who I am today - you know, the person that they're supposed to be in love with.
