sick day
I was sent home from my placement today. I've gotten sick, like the rest of the world. It's such a bitch to be sick, especially considering I only get two 'sick days' per semester. I guess I can't help being sick.
Anyway, I've spent the entire day in bed. I watched this movie called Marley & Me. Balled my eyes out. It's about this crazy dog, and how he shapes the lives of this couple. The movie starts right at the beginning of the couples marriage, until the dog dies. The scene where they have to put the dog down killed me. It reminded me so much of when my own dog died, and how intense my love was for my dog.
As you get older, life's responsibilities get even bigger, and even when you're sick, they don't go away. That being said, and even though I'm behind on work, I just need this time to veg. If I'm not 100 percent I won't do well anyway.
