You know that you're sicker-than-sick about this whole WINTER/SNOW/ICE/COLD thing and more than ready to end when:
- you think that -16 C (3F) makes for a "warm afternoon";
- when the teacher's sand-and-beaches screensaver pops up during break, the class sighs collectively;
- you start daydreaming about beaches and sunshine and palm trees and Florida Spring Breaks, even though you: a) hate the place, b) is allergic to the sun, c) can't swim;
- you hate being cooped inside that you insist on walking 20 mins to the next bus stop. To get some fresh air. In a snowstorm. At -25C (-15F).
*makes a disgruntled noise*
What a I need is either a vacation somewhere green and sunny; for winter to finally suddenly end in the middle of the season; or a warm front to come in and give us some freakishly warm weather.
A cold front and -30C (-22F) temperatures they are not.
*weeps in her corner*
(Marks for the first semester have finally trickling through the drain that is our school's incomprehensible collaborative administrative grading system. So far (2/5 are out) am passing everything. But shall not breath easy until the final transcript comes through.)
