Sports first:
* As proclaimed by diemme over at cult_of_maldini, June is International Maldini Appreciation Month since everyone but Dani (aka Little Man) was born in this month. And yes, this means that there'll be hella celebrations come June 26th (Paolo's bday and when MY WIFEY ARRIVES IN MONTREAL!!!!)
La Lady of Meelan turns a cool 40 tomorrow :)
* andolinn pointed out to me the blatant sexism in lightly using the word slut to describe a man. This has been amended (thank you dear), and Fabio Cannavaro shall be known from now on as HIS ROYAL SUNSHINE.
* Belated congrats to the Detroit Red Wings on winning the Stanley Cup! I would have liked the youngsters to win, but aaah. Next year, Pens!
* I should start watching tennis again. The French Open is so much fun and thrills this year! (It'd be highly interesting but unrealistic that Rafa loses the trophy on clay...but we'll see. Feddybear is doing his best, ha!) AND HOLY MALDINI SAFINOVA IS ON FIREE!!! That girl...wow. First Sharapova, now Dementieva? *whistles*
* Gourky is gone. *sheds tear* I need to change my layout now...

Work-related:
* I need another job. My current one is not paying enough, and it's starting to get hella boring at times. Got my paycheck today and it was TINY. Well, not literally tiny (it was still worth several hundred of dollars), but much, much, muchmuchmuch less than what I was expecting. I know, I know...I have no one to blame but myself (and my gluttony) for my humongous Visa bill. :/
* TOTALLY FREAKY THING THAT HAPPENED FORREALZ: I was preparing envelopes for gift certificates. So I cut up a bunch of stickers, grab some envelopes and a bunch of business cards to stick inside them. AND HOLY PAOLO I ACTUALLY HAD THE ~EXACT~ SAME NUMBER OF EACH!!!! o.O The chances of that happening!
* I need more money. Did I mention that I might get another job? [Watch me bitch like hellz about work though...eh.]
* Have a new uniform shirt. My boss fished out another one of her old shirts (we wear Chinese-style shirts + dark pants as our receptionist "uniform") and whee, it's BRIGHT pink! Almost brighter than my toes, hahah!
Odds and ends:
* I need new glasses. I think that after carrying around the prescription for over 4 months in my bag, I should seriously start putting money aside for a pair of new frames. BECAUSE I AM BLIND, OMM. *squints*
* I made my must-do summer list, which is basically: 1) GET PASSPORT; 2) Get haircut; 3) Subscribe to a gym and yoga/pilates/something classes; 4) Buy camera; 5) MAKE MONEY; 6) Have the Bach Fuga down pat; and 7) Have a fan-fuckin'-tastic time in Pariiiis! So...yeah. I need another job ASAP.
* ...I forgot what else I wanted to write about. And someone remind/poke me to write about all the lovely mail I've received in the last two weeks!
