Oh, Max, long story...
I try to keep it short, okay?

He left the show three weeks ago, he left it on his request, because he didn't wanted to be promoted the same way the other "Pop Idols" were. He wanted to do his own music and so he left the show, because that wasn't possible.
It really was a pretty big scandal here in Germany because it was the first time that a candidate of such a show had the courage to stand up and "fight" against such a big record company and an even bigger TV station for his rights as an independent artist.
Max is now banned for the next three months, he isn't allowed to do a record or to do shows in other TV channels than RTL (the channel where DSDS was showed)

So i will wait for his Cd (he reunited with his Rockband "Empty Trash", a band i really like! http://www.myspace.com/emptytrashberlin) for the next months, i guess it will be out in fall. We'll see.

And i'm still in love with Max Dad, i did a lot of posts in the last weeks...

OMM, I tried to keep my eyes and ears open about Max and DSDS, but wow, I certainly was not expecting *that*. I'm a bit shocked, but considering his talent and determination, I'm sure that he can make it on his own.

I like it when artists reunited with their original bands, one of the many reasons why I dislike Pop Idols shows because it breaks up so many bands. Empty Trash sounds good (but what a name! lol) and their pictures, awww...they all look so cute and...German.

Ah yes, I've seen some of your entries on Carl. (I'm so sorry that I haven't left many comments there lately.) Your love for that man knows no bounds! *grins*

Yeah, i'm somekind of very proud on him that he tries it alone now. Max could have it that much easier, but at the end, i'm sure it was the right decision. Noone of the Pop Idol-stars had longlasting careers but Max will go his way. He's got the talent, he definitly has the look *smiles* and his band is so cool. But yeah, Empty Trash is such a stupid name *lol*

Oh Carl, dear, it's a "coming home"-thing. I know him for so long now, about 13 years and it feels so right to be "in love" with him. Actually i started to write some fanfiction for him... *blushes*
It's okay, i sometimes wished you had write your opinion especially about Carl and Max, but you have your life with your exams (i will still love you if you should fail what i doubt!!) and this heart-stopping Championsleague-semifinal and Paolos almost-retirering (i was very happy for you when i read that he will play another season!). So, yeah, it's okay.

Max has all my blessings. I wish him and his band the best with luck, success and music. They will make it! I solemnly promise you that I will even go out and buy their CD if/when it comes out in America! ;)

Awww, fanfiction? That's so sweet. I'm so happy for you because you can once again embrace a love of your life (because I have no doubt that Carl is one of the loves of your life) AND go crazy over his son at the same time. It's like...musical destiny, lol.

One of the loves of my life... I like that! :)
I love Carl for such a long time now and this love had different stadiums.
First it was: "Oh, this guy is so big and kind of crazy and i like the way he smiles and plays the guitar" (but nothing more, i was 14!), than it was a love full of respect, "friendship" and admiration for his bloody brilliant music and after 13 years of knowing him, i buyed three or four weeks ago a DVD which totally made me crazy. It finally showed me that this guy is sweet and lovely and so damn sexy (and after this eye-opener, i rewatched my old VHS-tapes and guess what: I found out that this guy was also sexy there. I'm so stupid to see this this late!)
So, the picture is somehow... complete now, if this makes any sense to you.

And yes, both men are called Buskohl with real names, but Carl dediced to call himself Carlton after everyone began to call him so.
It's a funny story: He spent his first self-earned money in a very very expensive Carlton-Hotel and he did everything. Drinking all the stuff from the mini-bar, order champagne, the full program... He's crazy, but i love him, what can i do? *smiles*

It makes lots of sense! Oh Rob, it's such a wonderful story...re-discovering your teenage idol, realizing that he's so sweet and sexy.. May it's a good thing you didn't realize how sexy he was back then, I can't imagine the level of craziness you'd be at right now? *g* (Just kidding, lol.)

*laughs at Carl's behaviour* How very rock star of him! I'm glad that he didn't do his little celebration at a Hilton or Fairmount hotel instead, because Carl Carlton sounds a lot better than Carl Hilton or Carl Fairmount!

But yes, I'm just crazy about him. rieloflorien called my love for him and the re-discovering the end of a long journey and the end of confusion and i guess she's right.
