Unexpected difficulties
1. Finding untranslated English-language books in Paris. I was pointed to a Smith`s on rue Rivoli, near place de la Concorde, which sounds promising. I was looking to buy George RR Martin`s original books for A song of Ice and Fire for my trip tomorrow (more like in 2.5 hours...), but I guess that`ll have to wait. Yes, I`m watching Game of Thrones. And yes, I`m hooked. (Sean Bean! Pretty Starks! So much plotting and drama and power-struggles! Everything I ever wanted in a fantasy-medieval story!)
2. Apparently having a flight at 6:40AM means that I need to take the first RER at 5:25AM. Which means that I need to get up at 4:30AM and either get the night bus or a cab to the RER stop. Oh self. WHY DID YOU BUY SUCH EARLY TICKETS??!
Erm, yes. So I`m off to Madrid until Saturday, at which point aeroport_li will be in Paris, yay! Also, this is way too much traveling this month, even for my crazy travel-adrenaline junkie person.
