Stuff 'n stuffin'
1. Friends-cut.
If you've been removed, it's probably because either we haven't talked in forever, either you've never, ever commented in my journal, either we've just grown apart. I'd rather have a smaller f-list with people I know and care about (and who, vice-versa, care about me). If you feel like you've been unfairly cut, please let me know.
So please, can the people under "Also Friend of" here please remove me from their f-list? Thanks.
2. Who-verse invasion of my journal. Icons, sidebar banners. I also named my mp3 "Gallifrey", hah. It makes me happy. (Also making me happy is the idea of a Torchwood: The Musical. If I understand correctly, Naoko and John have performed Miss Saignon together in the past, and Gareth fronts his own band. Hee, musical!alien analysts!)
3. Brûlerie St-Denis. A Montreal landmark, but tonight was only my second time there. But OMG GUYS THEIR FOOD(AND DRINKS) MAKE ME SO HAPPY! Last time I had this fantastically light chocolate cheesecake and Earl Grey, this time I had a wonderfully filling roast beef panini with salad and a cauliflower cream soup. Yum yum yum. Can't wait to try out their breakfast! And actually coffee, since that is their speciality.
4. I went to the post office today and ended up buying makeup. Gah, damn you Shoppers/Pharmaprix! (Big-ass drugstore near school. Post office on second floor. Makeup on the first.)
5. Gramps is still in hospital. His health condition is yo-yoing, but if you squint, he's progressively improving. *squints* My brother's ankle is still recuperating. Dad left for a business trip. This household is going bonkers.
6. But to leave on a happy note: OMG GUYS IT'S ABOVE ZERO NOW!!! Except that it was snowing yesterday I wore sneakers today!!! No more boots!!! And with the Daylight Saving Time, the sun doesn't actually set at 5pm anymore!!! (The only thing missing for spring? HOCKEY. PLAYOFFS. Considering how we just sacked our coach, this doesn't look good. Adieu, Carbo. It was good while it lasted...okay, not really.)
