Camels and cattle and goats, oh my!

Looky. (as seen here)

Apparently you can hack Google Maps to zoom in an amazing amount - not everywhere, though. I tried it on my house and couldn't get it to work.

That is a lot of camels.

Doesn't seem to work on my place either.

I wish I had a camel.

They probably don't let you do it on cities or certain countries or something.

They aren't very friendly creatures, you know.

Au contraire. I have met a very friendly camel. It had a very friendly friend too.

I haven't really met any camels. But there was one at the Ekka next to us last year, and it wasn't very friendly. It just stood there and grumbled. I suppose I shouldn't generalise, though.

No, you shouldn't. That particular camel was probably just having a bad day. Or a bad year or something.

I just had a thought. If you ever do get a camel, I'll have to make some arrangement with you to get some camel fleece! Camel down is so soft and is supposed to be lovely to spin :)

No! If I ever get a camelid, it'll be an alpaca. Alpacas rule.

Suit yourself, then. You and your thing for Alpacas.
