licenseartistic "Again!" Oreius shouts, and Edmund groans and raises his sword, grunts as Peter rushes him and gets in a clanging blow.
"Ow. Wait! Let me--"
"We are going into battle against the Witch's forces, young King," the Centaur says grimly, "They will not give you a chance to prepare yourself. Again!"
Once more he raises his sword, this time reacting quickly as Peter makes his move. He parries and counter attacks, and Peter's sword goes flying from his fingers. "Ouch!"
"Do not stop and wait for him to get his weapon back!" the Centaur orders. "Press your attack now!"
Edmund turns to scowl at him and says, "He's my brother -- I'm not going to hurt him!"
"No, but you must be prepared to fight against unarmed foes. You must take every advantage you can find, Edmund. The war that we are facing is not a pretty dance. There will be pain and blood, and it is my job to make certain that as little as possible of it is yours. Now, take your positions, and try it again!"
Edmund raises his sword yet again...
