An AU where Kanonno is born of Pasca's negativity.

Pasca. A world ravaged with war, negligence, and destruction. A Descender was born from its World Tree, but despite his efforts, he could not do anything to stop the deterioration of the World Tree. He couldn't raise a hand against the very humans that brought life to Pasca, yet destroyed it at the same time.

In that chaos, the war inched closer and closer to the World Tree as they forgot its importance. The roots made perfect cover for the opposing sides, and they were worn down from  battle. And in doing so, the

Negativity!Kanonno

    Was born from the negativity of Pasca.

    Tortured by the negativity of others, she can't help but go out of control and rage at he people destroying their world.
    
  • 
    Basically their feelings of wanting to destroy each other, that the war would be over translated into her destroying everything to make the feelings stop.
    
  • 
    Pasca had someone else as its Descender. He continuously tried to convince Kanonno there are other ways to solve the war. She wouldn't believe him - not with the hatred everywhere.

      Not to mention he was frustrated with Pasca's condition as well. She took advantage of that and broke him. In other words, she basically twisted his logic into making him wonder what he was fighting for.
      
    • 
      But this backfired. He came to believe that he was born for the sake of the world, not its people. And so he threatened to exterminate every last one of them. But without humans, negativity cannot exist, and so she retaliated by killing him, fearing for her existence.

      And that was when she snapped for good. No Descender, no hope. There was no more light in the world, and everything would be consumed by Negativity.

    At the base of it, she's scared of her existence. Humans will always have negativity, but they don't like negativity. And humans shun what they don't like. They try to destroy it. So she distrusts people not only for ruining themselves, but out of fear for her own existence. She hates herself, but she doesn't want to go back to the cycle of mana. Because that's only a constant cycle of death and rebirth, with nothing to live for, nothing to die for.

      Even so, should humanity be at stake, she will take their side.Because she can't exist without them.

  • 
    People can be evil without being negative. And this is the most dangerous kind of being she could side with. Negativity hurts her, light scares her. So a "neutral" person who has neither of these could easily either take advantage of her, and she is more likely to trust them.
