When you mentioned "forces you cannot see," I assume you're referring to more than our mysterious system administrator, yes?

Not much to be cheerful for much these days. No rum, no girls, just this wretched, wretched house.

I don't suppose you might enlighten me as to exactly what 'forces' you are referring to? As you may have noticed, there have been a series of attacks. Now, I've never been on to entertain notions of the supernatural, but...at this point in time I am open to new ideas.

Anything would help.

Not entirely sure meself. A haunting, I think. 'Tis why I'm stuck here, I've supposed. Believe you me when I say I didn' want to be no bloody ghost haunting a bloody mansion in the middle a nowhere. But perchance there's a soul's taken over the place who's got somethin' they want t'accomplish, someone whose life they want t'make as miserable as their own.

Dunno if any a' that's true though. Just spec'lation. I've had me a long time t'sit an' think.

And in this long time you've been sitting and thinking, might you have perchance thought of any reason our friends would be suddenly attacking people? Perhaps you've witnessed a gathering of those we might be wary of...or seen some sort of suspicious device that might - loath as I am to suggest this - be the source of this madness?

Mayhaps they aren't as much yer friends as you thought they were.

As for gatherings, sure. People gather t'gether all the time. Don't wanna be alone, safety in numbers.

This whole house is a "suspicious device".
