· WHAT: You just had a nightmare about killing your acquaintance/apprentice/friend - obviously the only answer is tea.

Nightmares, and dreams, were never meant to be vivid. That was part of their fundamental definition. But what happened through the course of day and the night before, no matter times he could logically tell himself was not real, was still unnerving.
He had killed Vaan, but worse, he had done it as a Judge. On the other hand, considering there seemed to be no other repercussions it was relatively tame. When Vaan had attacked everyone, things were much more intense. Perhaps he should have been thanking his lucky stars.
After speaking to Fran, he decided to go out and get tea. Nothing like morning tea to make you feel at ease. Or that was the theory.
He purposely avoided the mistletoe, and was careful not to run into anyone. When he got to the kitchen, he started the tea kettle.
...Now all there was left was to wait, so he took a seat at the same table.
