Elena was on the lookout for a certain redhead, trying to observe the hallway as best as she could. She was supposed to be finding things, right? Although the conversation left her more than a little confused. Geostigma? Two years? Was Reno trying to play some sort of trick on her? She supposed it wouldn't be the first time.

But it just didn't make sense...

His words made her jump a little, but she quickly tried to hide it. Turks were supposed to be more alert, and he shouldn't have surprised her. But this whole situation had thrown her off-balance. She wasn't even entirely sure where this... house? ...had came from.

"Yeah, it's me. You said you know what's going on in this place?"

She had to force herself to not instantly jump on him and ask a million questions.

There she was. Reno gave her a nod, shrugging once in response. "I'll fill you in on what I picked up so far. The rest is a work in progress."

Not exactly the most useful work in progress, if you liked picking at the details. All he had so far was some kid with a plastic toy, and a suspicious 'Glyph Room' he hadn't had the chance to look into yet. Elena probably didn't know about the world thing-- hell, he still didn't get it, not completely. It might come as a shock if he told her about the barriers, too. Good chance he wasn't keeping count of how many times someone's tried breaking out a window, because the number would be getting pretty high by this point.

Same for the front door. Not to mention the ones inside and how they only seemed to open when they wanted to open. Made knowing how to pick a lock seem kind of pointless.

He gave another nod, towards the entrance to the hall this time, gesturing for her to follow. "We can walk 'n talk. The rooms are down this way."

Well, if nothing else, Reno at least looked the same. ...Although she didn't quite understand why he wouldn't, considering she'd just seen him, what, yesterday maybe? Although he did look just a bit... not so much older, but maybe slightly more mature. That was puzzling too.

But she had other things to think about. Apparently they were going to a room? She nodded quickly and started to walk after him.

"Y'know, Tseng's going to be mad at both of us for not reporting in. Not that we apparently have much say in the matter, but. I wonder how Rude managed to not get stuck?"

He had to try not to laugh at that. Reporting in? If it was possible here, Reno would have loved nothing more than to report in. 'Hey Tseng, we got locked in this house-- what? No, I don't know where it is.'

It was kind of sad.

"Let's worry about gettin' out first," ah, here it was. The hall with all those rooms. It seemed to be the only hall aside from the entrance one that wasn't changed when all the doors locked again. "Like I said-- I went in ahead, and the door slammed. He must've got caught on the outside. I'd say he's comin' back for us, but look out a window and you'll see the problem with that."
