Apologies for hijacking your post

This is Neil in England. Could you please pass on to ssm a request for some moral support?
On 1st February, I was called in for a (third) kidney transplant. Things have been rough. More than once, we have feared that I might not survive. For the first time in my life, I have agreed to take anti-depressants.
The ray of sunshine in all this is that after a slow start, the kidney has been working quite well. Until this week. It may just be a reaction to yet another infection, but my blood tests are going in the wrong direction. I had a biopsy today, so we should know in a few days. If it shows rejection, the odds are that I will lose the kidney.
I am running low on the strength and willpower to fight. If anyone has any message of encouragement, I can always be reached via my parents at: 9 Sledmere Drive Middlesbrough TS5 7LQ UK
(I think they would also get a morale boost from having something other than chicken soup to bring me.)
Sorry again for the strange method of getting in touch - it turns out that my "free bedside internet access" is extremely limited.

Neil! I am so sorry to hear that you're having such a rough time! I've "crossposted" your info to ssm (with a little bit of disguise for the address), and I'll post something fairly obscure on facebook directing ssm-rs this way.
Best of everything for the results of your biopsy and the future of your kidney. We're all rooting for you. If there's anything I can do from the other side of the pond, just let me know.

Oh. And I've "unscreened" your post to reply to it, and I'm not screening my responses - I'm not sure on the details of how this works, but I'll screen it all again in a while, hoping that you'll still be able to read it.

[crossposted] NOTE: My friendly postmaster says "UK" the machines will read it as Ukraine - it will go there, and then get sent back to the USA and finally readdressed to go to England. So write "England" or "Great Britain" on it instead of UK. 'Kay?
