I can't update properly but yay I have lost 4lbs, its from all the working out and being great with the food at the beginning of the week, wednesday and yesterday however I wouldn't be suprised if I had like 3000calories yesterday, but nevermind its done now and this loss had motivated me to carry on I could be at my mini goal by sept 1st afterall

Drink LOTS of water, it may make you feel bloated but it cleans your system and makes you look and feel better.
Get a LOT of sleep, you build muscle at night.
Lift weights too, the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn.
Don't get sucked into a fad diet, if you do, you will become less healthy. If you want to go fad diet, the Zone diet is the best. But eat a balanced diet. Fish, chicken, not much red meat, lots of vegetables, eat salad without a lot of dressing, cut soft drinks, except the occasional diet ones. Cut refined carbs like white bread, but eat a lot of whole wheat/whole grain.
eat about 1500 calories each day, which is the recognized amount that one should eat while dieting. You will lose probably about 5-10 pounds a month just from eating that amount each day. Good deserts are sugar free jello/jello pudding.
A good breakfast: German pancakes (not potato). They are more egg than flour and stuffed with fresh fruit, so basically, the best thing ever.

and if you dont have time to bake them in an oven, just cook them in a big pan, flipping them occasionally, until they are light golden brown.
a hidden scource of bad-for-you-carbs: Baked Potatoes except for baked sweet potatoes. Potatoes are bad for diabetics because of their placement on the glycemic index, and bad for dieters because of their low nutritional value.
Smoothies also have a LOT of sugar in them, so they aren't a good diet snack even though they are made of fruit. A good thing to try: Almond Butter. Better for you and better tasting than Peanut butter. REALLY good on a bagel, esp a wheat bagle.
Put less on your plate than you think you will eat, and when you are done with that, wait for a few minutes. You may be full already but your brain has not yet recieved the message.
And what ever you do: Don't STOP eating. If you do, your metabolism slows drastically down, AND it could kill you. You will actually lose more weight if you excercize and eat than if you dont do either. Dont even think about bulimia either, because that destroys your teeth, screws up your digestive tract, and makes it so that chemicals that tell your brain that you're full are no longer sent, and when you stop, you will have trouble controlling your eating.
(i know a lot about this stuff because there are a lot of nutritionists in my family, lol)
