space heroes and guitar heroes...

As for Atlantis, I liked this week’s episode, but really more for the comic aspects rather than the plot- which has been done to death on many shows, Batman (I thought it was funny that they mentioned the Batman episode- that little exchange between Rodney and Sheppard was *so* them), SG-1 with Hathor, and, the one I thought they probably should have mentioned given its influence on the writers, the Harry Mudd Star Trek episode.  I was definitely glad to see Carson get more screen time, even if he was so silly during most of it.  Although really, why did they think it was a good idea to send Carson off by himself?  Someone on the Atlantis list I’m on made the comment that her three-year-old son could probably “break” Carson- so yeah, not a big surprise that Lucius had such a big effect on him.  Lucius Lavin?  So, his name kinds of sounds like luscious loving?  Or lascivious loving.  Ugh.  Right, that's all for Stargate in review..on to other things...

So, after months of only being able to play the greatest game ever when we were at our friends' house, hubby & I finally broke down and bought a Playstation 2 and Guitar Hero.  We already have an XBox, and we only bought the PS2 so that we could play Guitar Hero.  Our friends were cool enough to let us save our games at their place on their memory card, so now that we have one we just transferred it over to ours.  I've already beaten the game on easy & medium, but hard is kicking my @ss.  Hubby only has 8 more songs to go to beat hard, but I've only gotten 8 songs beat!  Ah well, something to aspire to- that game is SOOO addictive!  Can't wait to see what songs they have on the new one that comes out this November.
