Dream Come True
Pretty freakin amazing weekend.
It's such a cool feeling to finally be able to do things that I've always dreamed of. Saturday afternoon, Casey and I went to Lion's Bridge and fed the duckies (which was pretty fun...yeah, I'm a nerd like that). After that we walked along the Nolan Trail for a while and talked and held hands. We stopped at some really beautiful bridge and just kind of held each other and talked, laughed and enjoyed our surroundings. We walked back and then stopped and sat along the beach of the James River and I put my feet in the water and we watched the sunset and talked. I know it sounds really silly...but that's seriously something I've always dreamed of doing. There's seriously a million things I've always dreamed of doing with someone I'm dating...and I'm glad I can finally mark one off the list! I'm just a big nerd that takes joy in stupid little things like feeding ducks or looking the stars or something. I seriously can't wait til July 4th when I get to sit on a beach in Nags Head with him and watch fireworks. I don't think anything is ever gonna top that. Like...seriously. I love the beach at night and I absolutely ADORE fireworks...and I get to be with him. Yeah, that's pretty much going to be the ultimate.
I'm glad I'll have a lot more opportunities like this too. This kid means a lot to me already...and I can't wait to have even more special moments with him.
And yes, Jessie...I know you're gagging. But, I can't wait til you get to share moments like that with someone. You totally deserve it (as we all do) and I can't wait til you have it!
