This Sprint/Nextel commercial, filmed in Pacific Grove a few blocks from us, was filmed over a period of two days about a month ago. The grassy area and water views are actually, and perhaps ironically, a place where weddings happen nearly every weekend. Which is why they filmed mid-week.
Yes, I actually do see these views every single day (and now, too, as I look out the window). And I am about 10% less homesick than I was when we moved here ... 20 months ago? So, doing the math, I'd stop being homesick in 200 months?
PS There was another Sprint/Nextel commercial being filmed concurrently "downtown. I ran across the wedding one accidentally --- i don't know what the theme was of the other one, other than it involved a bunch of prop fixie bikes supposedly parked casually.
