There's something about grocery stores that incites me to buy too much food. After all, you can eat it later.

For example, I needed a small amount of ground beef for my recipe for pasta sauce for this evening. So I bought this:



My rationale in the store was "well, we can always use later what I don't use now."

It *was* cheaper to buy the larger size in terms of cents per pound, which I don't understand. But the smaller size would've more than sufficed and it was *right next to* the bigger size.

I don't understand my brain.
