How many years does it take for makeup to go bad and be no longer usable?
Is fifteen years probably too many?
ETA: For explanation, I found my mother's old makeup bag with some lipstick in it. Of course, my mother never wore makeup and neither do I. This makeup exists because she had to wear it to my dad's Officer's Dinner when I was in the fifth grade. I tagged along when she got it; the same place as her finery for that occasion, at Nordstrom's.
This lipstick tube -- I am amazed at its continued existence.
