The Ex
He wanted to take the kids to the Harvest Fair at Sauvie Island. Asked me to meet them there to pick up the kids. I agreed, and reminded him that I'd be there by 2pm.
I got there, they weren't at the gate. I paid the $4 to get in, looked around, couldn't find them. Saw an old SCA friend of his, started chatting with her. Explained Roger & I are divorced, etc. She sort of laughed & said 'He sure has a lot of ex'es..." and commented that "...he never did get a clue, did he?"
Heh.
I looked for the S.O.B. for over an hour. Finally my son comes through the gate & greets me with a handful of wildflowers.
Come to find out Roger didn't know there was a gate fee, so he 'took the kids for a nature hike instead.' ...
He got there at 1:30. He knew I would be there at 2. So he took the kids for a hike until after 3pm???
And, as if that weren't enough, halfway home my son informs me they haven't had lunch yet. o_O
