Unintended Hiatus

Wow. I just realized that it's been over a month since I've posted last. A lot has happened since then, much of it good. I'm just going to give a quick summary.

School: I am so very excited for classes this fall. I'm worried about how I'm going to figure out payment, but I'm trying to relax. I'm going to see if I can use my AmeriCorps money

Go you! That is a whole lot of awesomeness going on. And I'm sure you'll get back to MN--all the more incentive to get your MSW as quickly as possible! I feel your frustration with Edinboro on all points. KU is exactly the same way--it's an Ivory Tower thing. You just THOUGHT that you were paying the school to perform the service of teaching you. What you're really paying for is the privilege to call youself a *insert school name here* student. Whether or not you pick up the requirements for a professional license along the way is entirely up to you, and if you're very lucky the school won't actively get in your way in the process. ;) Rest assured it is all worth it eventually!
