praise from the praiseworthy
I hadn't known it, but apparently RDA, having discovered oh so late that Cons Are Fun, attended Fedcon XX in Germany this weekend last weekend.* I was sent a set of links of the press conference the first day, and hello! RDA sitting right next to Wil Wheaton! Now, which of the people in this picture actually has a blog on which he might have mentioned this event?
Wil Wheaton on RDA:
"My first day at FedCon was a lot of fun. We did a press conference in the morning, which was pretty much everyone who was not named Richard Dean Anderson listen to Richard Dean Anderson take questions about Stargate, which is incredibly popular here. I sat next to RDA, which is what I figured out his friends call him, and I was quite impressed with his humor and intellect."
Unfortunately, Wil did not then go hang out with RDA for the rest of the con and report further, but hell, I'm delighted by the observation!
Also, Wil was wearing one of the coolest t-shirts EVER.
