What a great list! Obviously, I am a new fan (started with Nine) but yeah, fandom can be quite special. We actually had to make our own small German forum as there was much hate towards Ten(nant) and fangirls from the old Who-Lovers.

And then there is also the Torchwood fandom...

Yes, I saw the Davison special. Did you know it was nominated for a Hugo? I was so delighted!!

Well, no, they didn't win. Nobody expected them to. But it's an extraordinary achievement just for the work to have been nominated. (Bear in mind that they were up against the 50th anniversary special itself, and THAT didn't win either.)
