Massive Bethiichan.com Update!!
So, It's been quite a while since I've updated this website! As you can see, I've completely revamped my website! New layout, new photos, new costumes, new...everything really! Hopefully, I can keep this site regularly updated, since now it's easier for me to update! Yay!
Here's a list of new things!
1. New layout! My website is now run on Wordpress, rather than me updating the HTML in every webpage on the website. I'm far to lazy to do that anymore, and it also takes up way to much time. And now, since it's on Wordpress, I also have blog integrated into my website!
2. New Costumes! I now have updated all my costumes, taken some really old ones off, and put new ones up! I've also categorized them by genre (Anime, Video Game, Original, etc). Some costumes have new photos!
3. New Photos! I've updated my convention photo galleries! Since I hadn't updated since Katsucon 2009 (!!!) I've updated until the last convention I had photos for, which was Otakon 2010. I went to AUSA 2010 and Katsu 2011 but I didn't take any good photos at AUSA and I forgot my camera card for Katsu 2011 :( oops.
4. I have some new things planned for my site, that will hopefully help cosplayers/costumers! I have a new found love for make up, so I may upload video tutorials of how I did make up for my costumes, plus reviews of beauty products that can be used for costuming! I hope to get that off the ground soon, but we'll see! (again, laziness! haha)
I'm excited to re-launch my website again! :D :D
As for a life update, I'm working full-time as a graphic designer (hence the laziness of updating), so I don't make as many costumes anymore, but I still go to conventions! I will NOT be attending Otakon this year however, because, well...I'm kind of over Otakon now. :/ I've gone for 10 years, and I just don't feel the love anymore. Sorry Otakon. I will also not be attending AUSA this year, because I was so bored last year, I only did one convention thing which was fun (Pretear photoshoot FTW!) but that was it. And I'm tired of that hotel!
Since I'm not going to Otakon, I can now focus on Dragon Con! I will debuting 2 new costumes! The first is my friend's Knife Thrower costume that matches my Lion Tamer costume! The second is Noel Vermillion from Blaze Blue! I'm so excited! I can't wait! :3 My friend and I will also be running around as Sherlock Holmes-esque detectives, investigating nerds.
As for things that aren't related to cosplay/sewing/etc. I've been doing alot of movie watching, with the latest being Transformers 3 and X-Men: First Class. Both were good (X-Men was better than Transformers 3, but Transformers 3 was better than the 2nd one for sure!) I've also seen the new Studio Ghibli film "Arietty" or "The Borrowers" which was cute! I've also been watching alot of Inspector Gadget on Netflix streaming too! Childhood memories FTW!
